The Steven Wilson Street Team is asking for your photos!
0The Steven Wilson Street Team is currently running a small promotion on their Facebook page aimed at the community – Members can submit photos via Facebook message of them posing with Steven Wilson, which could be featured as the SWST cover image, which will be seen by over 3,000 members that are currently subscribed to the page. Alternatively, you can send them images of you showing your support for the Street Team by holding up a sign – this sign can be anything, even a piece of paper! I’d try to be a bit more creative, though!
Hi everyone! Does anyone out there have a photo of themselves with SW that they’d like to show the world? We’re going to start rotating the cover photo randomly and we’d like to begin by shining the spotlight on you guys! If you have a photo of you and SW that you’d like to see as our cover photo, please send it to us in a facebook message. Also, if you’d like to show your support for the Official SW street team, send us a photo of you holding a sign you made showing your support of the SWST. These will also be rotated in with the other cover photos! This is not a contest. We just want want to show everyone how great all of you guys are!
Help out with the SW Street Team’s Amazon Reviews Campaign!
0The Steven Wilson Street Team are running a small campaign encouraging it’s followers on Facebook to post a positive review of ‘Grace for Drowning’ onto the album’s Amazon page, here. I’ve already posted my review that I wrote for StarsDie.com, but it would be great if they could get some more support! Below, I’ve posted an extract of a note that they put on Facebook.

After reading the reviews of GFD on Amazon we’ve noticed something interesting. On US Amazon at the moment there are 20 reviews, 19 of which are 5 stars, but on UK amazon it could do with some more positivity, and also in other countries where they have their own Amazon, Germany, France..etc…I’m sure most of you are aware that good Amazon reviews definitely help to enthuse other people to check out albums. If the Street Team could help to ensure good reviews are posted, I definitely believe this is one way to introduce new fans to this album and possibly other SW projects. We are asking all SWST members who truly want to help SW share his music with the world, to please create an account with your countries Amazon and tell the world how amazing this album really is. This WILL make a difference if we can all work together and see that this happens! If you are one of those people who think this album is a 5 star album, please help!
Once you have posted your review, you can post a link to it and we’ll compile them all in a note on this page. Once we’ve gotten as many as we can, all reviews you’ve written will be copied and pasted into one document and presented to Steven so he can see all your hard work in print!! This is an important one guys… Also – if your country does not have it’s own Amazon – feel free to create an account on UK Amazon and other countries to post your review. The more people who see it, the better! – SWST
They are constantly updating a list of contributors to the campaign, which you can find here. I really hope that they get more support for this campaign, because it really is surprising what a difference some reviews on Amazon can mean to potential customers. In order to submit a review to Amazon, you need to have an account, which you’ve made a purchase on. If you haven’t got one, the cheapest way of doing it is signing up and then downloading an MP3. I did that on Sunday for my purchase of Steven’s ‘Postcard’ single, but I had to wait 48 hours before my purchase had gone through in order to have the ability to post the review. Anyway, I’m sure most of us have an Amazon account, it’s quite a popular site, isn’t it?
