just to add- i was told by BS that they had plans for a live SW cd too, which they told me would not be a limited issue and would contain new SW solo music not on either of his 2 solo albums.so ,with this in mind and the recent blogs confirming that his band are rehearsing new unreleased material,it would suggest that another live(probably double )cd will be forthcoming during this year,as it is this current leg of his tour that the new music is being performed.
so what with the 3000 headphone dust release-don’t you just hate having to wait for the “paypal” button to appear on the page-if you are anything like me you will be checking that blessed website every hour for the next few months, the storm corrosion cd the possibility of a bass communion boxset(i would only need to buy this for that dam 7″ single vajrayana that i missed back in 2004 due to my p/c being blown by a lightening blast)which hopefully has all the bass communion back catalogue on cd,and fingers crossed a new album by porcupine tree would be nice- anytime this decade please !
with SW cutting back on the blackfield project i do suspect the great man as realised that he has maybe spread himself a tad too thin, what with all the remix/master/5.1 projects for tull,kc et al,how does he find time for the main projects that pay the mortgage, esp. PT.or has PT become a side project too ?
anyhows , this is looking like a very interesting and expensive year for all of us SW fans.not complaining but he really should be classic prog magazines hero of the decade- more than any other person me thinks !
